Vincent E. Miller is a civil trial attorney. He opened The Law Offices of Vincent E. Miller, P.A. in September 2006 in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. Mr. Miller represents individuals and corporate entities in business and commercial litigation. He has considerable experience in litigating cases involving contract disputes, real property disputes, fraud and misrepresentation claims, business torts, landlord/tenant disputes, pre-suit collections and post-judgment recovery. Additionally, Mr. Miller represents people and families who have suffered catastrophic losses due to the negligence of others. Mr. Miller has extensive experience in prosecuting wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims. He handles claims involving vehicular liability, sexual assault, premises liability and civil rights violations.

Mr. Miller handles all phases of commercial litigation and personal injury litigation, including trial and appeal. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida.

Mr. Miller earned his B.A. from Georgetown University in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 1997. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 1997. Mr. Miller began his legal career practicing personal injury law at Gary, Williams, Parenti, Finney, Lewis, McManus & Sperando in Fort Pierce, Florida. At Gary, Williams, Parenti, Mr. Miller represented people who suffered catastrophic physical injuries caused by the negligence others. He handled all types of personal injury claims, including automobile crashes, trucking accidents, premises liability, animal attacks, wrongful death, excessive force litigation, and inadequate security.

Mr. Miller represented plaintiffs in personal injury actions for over 4 years before joining the West Palm Beach, Florida office of Shutts & Bowen LLP in February 2002. At Shutts & Bowen, Mr. Miller practiced commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on business litigation. While at Shutts & Bowen, Mr. Miller litigated breach of contract claims, fraud claims, eviction actions, real property disputes, and trust and estate matters.

Prior to law school, Mr. Miller worked on Capitol Hill as a Staff Assistant to the late United States Senator Terry Sanford. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, a Washington D.C. research and public policy institution. Mr. Miller is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut.
